BY PLANE

  • Paris is served by three main airports: Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG), located 25 km (16 mi) to the northeast of Paris, Paris Orly (ORY), located 13 km (8.1 mi) south of Paris, and Paris Beauvais (BVA), around 85 km (53 mi) north of Paris (near the city of Beauvais).

    Paris Charles de Gaulle and Paris Orly receive flights from most capitals and major cities across Europe. Meanwhile, low-cost airlines (notably Ryanair), operate flights to Paris Beauvais from many cities across Europe.

BY TRAIN

  • Most international trains arrive at either Paris Gare du Nord or Paris de l’Est. With companies such as Eurostar, Thalys and TGV it is possible to find high-speed trains from a number of neighbouring countries, such as the UK, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Italy etc.

HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL

  • From Paris Charles de Gaulle airport:
    By taxi: Taxis are easily found outside each terminal, be sure to take an officially licensed taxi from the rank. Fares vary depending on traffic, but expect to pay between 50€ to 60€.
    By bus: This is generally the quickest and most direct method. Operated by Air France, Le Bus Direct Ligne 2 (Green) goes direct from the airport to Porte Maillot, with a journey time of just 40 minutes; it is just a few minutes walk from Porte Maillot to the hotel. A one way ticket is 17€ and a return ticket is 30€.

    By train: Take the RER B (Blue) from the airport to Gare du Nord, exit the station and walk to La Chapelle and take the Metro 1 (Yellow) to Charles de Gaulle Étoile. The hotel is a 10-minute walk away from the Metro station. The journey will take around 1 hour and 10 minutes and will between cost 2€ - 5€.

    From Paris Orly airport:
    By taxi: Taxis are easily found outside each terminal, make sure to take an officially licensed taxi from the rank. Fares vary depending on traffic, but expect to pay between 30€ to 40€.
    By bus: This is generally the quickest and most direct method. Operated by Air France, Le Bus Direct Ligne 1 (Purple) goes direct from the airport to Étoile Rue Carnot, with a journey time of just 50 minutes; it is just 10 minutes walk from Étoile Rue Carnot to the hotel. A one way ticket is 17€ and a return ticket is 30€.
    By train: The airport is connected to RER via the ORLYVAL bus service, which will drop you off at the RER station Anthony. From there, you can take Line B to Chatelet Les Halles then switch to A Ligne (Red) for 2 stops to Charles de Gaulle Étoile it is just 10 minutes walk from Étoile Rue Carnot to the hotel. The journey will take around an hour and 15 minutes and will cost 2€ - 5€.

    From Paris-Beauvais airport:
    - By train: Take a taxi (around 11€) or shuttle bus (around 4€ per person) to Beauvais station, then take the TER line 19 to Paris Gare du Nord. Finally, exit the station and walk to La Chapelle and take the Metro 1 (Yellow) to Charles de Gaulle Étoile. The hotel is a 10-minute walk away from the Metro station. Tickets are 9.75€ or 6.85€ for children (4- 9). The journey will take 2 hours 30 minutes.
