The Chalet Hôtel Le Castel (in the process of receiving its 4-star status) is located in the heart of the hamlet of Praz, just 2 kilometres from the Chamonix Mont-Blanc ski station.

BY PLANE

  • The closest well-served international airport is Geneva Intenational Airport, located 4 km / 2.5 mi northwest of Geneva city centre, and 102 km / 63 mi north west of the hotel (around 1 hour and 20 minutes drive). Some flight options are listed below:

    - From the UK: EasyJet, Swiss and British Airways all offer direct flights out of London. Easyjet also offers direct flights out of Bristol and Edinburgh

    - From Ireland: Aer Lingus and Swiss offer direct flights from Dublin.

    - From Germany: Easy jet offers direct flights from Hamburg and Berlin. Germanwings offers direct flights from Hamburg and Dusseldorf.

    - From the Netherlands: Easyjet and KLM offer direct flights from Amsterdam.

    - From Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland: Indirect flights are available with Brussels Airlines from all four respective capitals. Stockholm, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo.

    - From France: Air France offers direct flights from Paris and Marseille. Swiss offers direct flights from Nice while Easy jet offers direct flights from Nantes.

HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL

  • We recommend renting a car at the airport in order to reach the hotel (it will also be useful to get around during your stay). Chamonix is well served by the N205 and the A40 ("Autoroute blanche").
