The fortified city of Carcassonne, perched on a rocky hilltop, could easily be found on the pages of a children’s book.   • Carcasonne Airport (CCF) is located 7.5 km / 4.3 mi (around 13 minutes' drive) from the hotel. It receives flights with Ryanair from London, Dublin, Manchester, Porto and Brussels as well as seasonal flights from other cities in the UK.

    Alternatively, Toulouse-Blagnac Airport (TLS) is located around 105 km / 63.2 mi (around 1 hour 10 minutes' drive) from the hotel. It is an international airport which is fairly well-served by flights from elsewhere in France along with a number of capitals cities and other large cities across Europe.

HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL

  • - By car: Leaving the airport start by following the signs for Toulouse and the A61 - A62 motorways. And then follow the signs for the motorway to Montpellier.Continue along the E9/ A61 towards Montpellier for 80km and take exit 23, Carcassone – Ouest. After leaving the motorway, follows signs for the Cité Médiévale and there will be signs for the hotel.

    - By taxi: A taxi will take an hour or so, and will cost 120€ -160€.
