Ibrahim Nassir International Airport (also known as Malé Internetional Airport) is the main airport serving the Maldives archipelago and is located on Hulhulé Island in next to the capital island Malé.
A few airlines fly direct from a handful of European cities, such as British Airways seasonal from London Gatwick, Condor year-round from Frankfurt, Austrian Airlines seasonally from Vienna, or Edelweiss Air seasonally from Zurich.
However, it is far more likely that you will need to take a connecting flight with a changeover for example in Doha with Qatar Airways, Abu Dhabi with Etihad Airways, or Dubai with Emirates. The total amont of flight time is usually around 12 & 14 hours.
