No matter how many places I go, nothing for me trumps Italy. The beautiful language, the carefree spirit, the world-class food – Italy has it all. And that’s precisely what I did at Tenuta Barco di Eméra; whether you yearn to explore its olive groves by bike or simply relax for days on end in the sun, this beautiful rustic retreat gives you the opportunity to do it all, set in the midst of some of the best countryside the south has to offer.

BY PLANE

  • The closest airport to the hotel is Bari Palese Airport; around 1 hour and 40 minutes’ drive from the hotel.

    - From the UK: British Airways, EasyJet and Ryanair operate seasonal direct flights out of London. Indirect flights from London and other cities are available from BA and Alitalia. From Ireland: Seasonal flights are operated by Ryanair.

    - From Germany: Air Berlin fly from Berlin and Air Dolomiti fly from Munich. Between Germanwings and Ryanair, seasonal flights can be found from other cities like Hamburg, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt and Cologne.

    - From the Netherlands: Transavia fly seasonally from Amsterdam.

    - From Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland: Unfortunately no direct flights exist from any of these countries, occasionally indirect flights are available from companies such as Air Berlin or Germanwings with stop-overs in Germany.

    - From France: Easyjet and Ryanair fly direct out of Paris. Indirect flights from Paris and other cities can be found via Air France & Alitalia.
