Bliss – noun – Perfect happiness; great joy.

It’s a bold move for a hotel to name itself Bliss Point. Perfect happiness is a difficult thing to promise when there are so many aspects of a holiday that can end up a little less than perfect. Bliss Point, however, is nothing if not bold – and they’re well prepared for the task of backing up the name.

Bliss Point credits the food industry for the origin of its name; where the bliss point describes having the perfect amount of each ingredient. Delightfully, the hotel’s restaurant seems to support this, serving local specialities from breakfast into the evening on the terrace; with live music adding to the blissful ambiance.

But, to concentrate only on the epicurean aspect would do the hotel a disfavour. There’s a whole new kind of bliss to be found in the hotel pool, high up and offering spectacular views across Marrakech, of the Koutoubia Mosque and the Atlas Mountains in the distance.

With only 15 guest rooms in this intimate hotel, you’ve plenty of opportunity to find peaceful, tranquil bliss. The rooms themselves are contemporary and stylish, decorated in opulent shades of red and gold. The Deluxe Room is grand with a spacious bathroom. Returning after a busy day in Marrakech to sink into the luxurious beds, or have a drink on the balcony before going out to dinner, are just some of the many ways Bliss Point manages to be effortlessly blissful.
