Villerville

France

Hotel Le Bellevue is located in the town of Villerville, in Normandy - home to Calvados, 6 km from the famous boardwalks of Trouville and Deauville.

BY FERRY FROM THE UK

  • Ferries travel between Portsmouth and Caen-Ouistreham Port three times a day with prices varying form 23€ to 40€. The voyage lasts around 5 and a half hours and tickets can be booked directly from Brittany Ferries’ website.

Once you arrive in Caen, either finish the journey with a 34-minute taxi ride costing between 45€ and 50€, or drive to the hotel following the directions below:
Leaving the port, take Take Route de la Pointe du siège and D37 to Le Mesnil/D513 in Bréville-les-Monts. In Varaville, get on the D27 to Deauville-Trouville, and then Villerville.

BY PLANE

  • Caen Airport and Deauville Airport are the closest to the hotel but very few companies operate to these cities. To Caen there are flights from London-Southend with Flybe, and Ryanair flies from London-Stansted to Deauville. At the moment, no other European cities are connected to these airports. Because of that, we rather recommend flying to Paris and taking a train, car or bus from there.

Paris is served by three main airports: Paris Charles de Gaulle, located 25 km (16 mi) to the northeast of Paris, Paris Orly, located 13 km (8.1 mi) south of Paris, and Paris Beauvais, around 85 km (53 mi) north of Paris (near the city of Beauvais).

Paris Charles de Gaulle and Paris Orly receive flights from most capitals and major cities across Europe. Meanwhile, low-cost airlines (notably Ryanair), operate flights to Paris Beauvais from many cities across Europe.

BY TAXI

  • Paris-Orly and Roissy-Charles de Gaulle are very well connected by train and you can calculate the best journey directly on SNCF. For practical reasons, choose “Trouville-Deauville” as destination since it is much better communicated and closer to the hotel. From there, it is a 10 minute taxi journey to the hotel.

BY CAR

  • From Paris, it takes around two hours to get to the hotel. Get onto the A14 then merge onto the A13, following signs for Normandie/Honfleur/Deauville/Trouville/Caen. Take the A29 exit toward Le Havre/ Honfleur, then take exit 1 toward Aéroport Deauville-Normandie and follow the D513 to Villerville. Turn right onto Rue des Poilus and again onto Allée du Jardin Madame and the hotel will be on your right.
