View all offersAlthough I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t drawn in by the world-class beer and incredible music scene, Prague has been on my travel bucket list for quite some time now. Its breath-taking beauty and its (well deserved) epithet as “The City of a Hundred Spires” make it feel more like one enormous architectural exhibit than a real working city, the dynamic history etched into the buildings and laid bare for all to see. Our hotel, Three Storks, was mere moments away from places like these with Charles Bridge literally 5 minutes away. Location wise, this place couldn’t be beaten!
Once home to a monastic brewery in the 14th century, the outer appearance of the hotel blends seamlessly into its surroundings in the Mala Strana. Inside however is a different story; here the design takes on a refreshing modern approach, using a bright neutral palette to emphasise the natural light, coupled with bold splashes of colour. All together it was an intoxicating fusion of old and new – and we were hooked!
With only 21 rooms at the hotel the staff here at Three Storks will get to know you fairly quickly – so regardless of whether you’re waking up to a scrumptious hot breakfast, or getting started on the evening’s events at the glittering bar in the lobby, the service is always second to none. After a day jam packed with sight-seeing and meandering through tightly winding cobbled lanes, there was nothing better than being welcomed back with genuine warmth and friendliness. I may have come to Prague for the art (and, yes, the beer) but it’s my fabulous experience at Three Storks that will make me stay here time and time again!
