BY PLANE

  • Florence Airport, Peretola (FLR), sits about 10 km (6 mi) northwest of Florence city centre. A number of airlines, in particular Vueling, operate flights to Florence Aiport, from cities accross Europe.

HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL

  • - By airport transfer service: available from Florence Airport for 50€ each way.

    - By taxi: the centre can be reached in about 5-10 minutes by taxi and costs around 20€ - excluding luggage.

    - By public transport: the SITA/ATAF "Vola in Bus" shuttle bus operates between the airport and the central railway station of Santa Maria Novella. The journey time is around 20 minutes and is 6€ one-way or 10€ round trip. From there the hotel is no more than a 5 minute walk away on the Via Luigi Alamanni.

    - By car: car rental companies are readily available at the airport terminal, but it is often to cheaper to book online and in advance. Leave the aiport and take the A1. From the A1 – Autostrada del Sole take the exit for Firenze Impruneta. Take Via Senese north towards Florence until Porta Romana. Take the 4th exit onto Via Romana. Once you enter the city, follow the signs for the Firenze Santa Maria Novella Railway Station. The hotel is located just 200 metres from the station.
