The city of Porto is served by Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (or simply Porto Airport), located about 11 km (6.8 mi) northwest of the centre of Porto.
From the UK: Airlines flying direct from London are: British Airways, Tap Portugal, EasyJet and Ryanair. Flybe fly direct from Birmingham and indirect from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Belfast.
From Ireland: Ryanair operate direct flights from Dublin.
From Germany: TAP Portugal fly indirectly from Berlin and several other cities, whereas SATA fly direct from Munich and TAP Portugal & Ryanair fly direct from Dusseldorf and Frankfurt.
From the Netherlands: Flying from Amsterdam, TAP Portugal and Transavia operate direct flights, while Ryanair also fly direct from Eindhoven.
From Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland: TAP Portugal and Vueling airlines both fly indirectly from all four respective capital cities, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo and Helsinki.

HOW TO GET TO THE HOTEL FROM THE AIRPORT

- By Airport Transfer Service: provided by the hotel for a surcharge.
- By Taxi: taxis are available 24 hours a day from outside the Arrival hall. They take around 20 to 30 minutes to get to the city centre, and should cost between 15 and 20 euros (although a 20% surcharge is payable on weekends, public holidays and between 9 pm and 6 am).
- By Metro: quite possibly the fastest, most convenient and cheapest way of getting to the hotel. The airport is connected to the city centre via line E (violet) of the metro system; in order to get to the hotel, change at Trindade for line D (yellow) in the direction of Santo Ovídio; it is then only one stop to Aliados. From here it is a 3 minute walk; with the large building and clock tower behind you (the City Hall), walk down the Av. dos Aliados and take a right onto the Rua Elísio de Melo. Continue straight onto Praça D. Filipa de Lencastre and the hotel is on the left.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
