I’ve often thought the snow topped, pastel-coloured palaces of St. Petersburg don’t look like they quite belong in a Russian metropolis, instead resembling the miniature fairytale creations you find in snow globes, or an intricately detailed French patisserie. In fact to my mind, it's no stretch of the imagination to think the same Baltic chill that freezes you on the spot in winter is what froze the city in its permanent state of Imperial beauty. Amidst all this sugar-topped ethereal beauty, The DOM Boutique Hotel by Authentic Hotels ***** is an oasis of luxury and comfort, and the perfect place to warm up those cold toes after exploring the Venice of the North.
