Yet it is Russian Prince Demeter Gallitzin who would be most gratified to see the extensive forest, meadows, and vineyards still making up the hotel’s lands. Always the socialite, he would be the first out for a pleasant walk in the morning before taking the short trip into the city for a day’s excitement in the galleries and museums of Vienna.
