Very good

By Sophie Lawrence, VeryChic correspondent
Paris is synonymous with romance; anyone can tell you that. But for me it’s not the tree lined boulevards or the winding curves of the Seine that make me want to take my boyfriend’s hand and skip along a bridge – it’s the city’s creative, defiant spirit that gives me butterflies. Here works of art aren’t limited to canvases, but have extended to the pavements, the people, or even the hotels themselves. The Hôtel Gaston perfectly embodies the city’s artistic flair, with sense of intimacy and romance that feels irresistibly Parisian.
