Florence has been heralded as the birthplace of opera, and the Villa Nardi **** is no exception to the city’s musical history. One of the villa’s first owners was musician Alberto Franchetti, who drew inspiration from his majestic surroundings to compose operas there and hosted lavish parties, concerts, and banquets. Just like opera, this property oozes grandiose pomp in its very architecture, mixed with the tranquil legato rhythms of an aria in its peaceful Tuscan setting. Staying at this hotel allows you to immerse yourself in a slice of history, not only upon visiting the centre of Florence, but also in the very place you’ve chosen to rest your head.

PLANE

  • Florence Airport (FLR), Peretola sits about 10 km (6 mi) northwest of Florence city centre. The airport receives a international flights from a number of capitals and large cities across Europe, and most notably serves as a focus for Vueling Airlines.

HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL

  • - By taxi: the hotel is only 10 minutes away from the airport, but in a taxi this costs around 30€!

    - By bus: from the airport you can take a number of buses to F.Lli Rosselli (including LAM PO-FI, R003, R004..). The 131R and the 131, which come every half an hour, take you to Firenze V.Senese N.52 (6 minutes away), which is then around 400m from the hotel. In total this costs around 4€.
