Do as the Romans do at this exclusive address

By Sophie Lawrence, VeryChic correspondent
There’s not a writer or a poet out there, it seems, who hasn’t raved about Rome; yet it’s entirely understandable. Even as I write this I feel compelled to wax lyrical about its imperfect, eternal beauty and the spellbinding way it overwhelms every one of your senses. It’s chaos, sure - but there’s no chaos I’d rather be in the middle of. So it was with a stroke of luck that I found the Hotel Victoria **** seated at the beating heart of Rome and moments from the Via Veneto, my very own classically elegant sanctuary.
