The perfect mélange of French chic and Italian passion, France’s island of Corsica is one of my favourites, especially when you’re craving the Mediterranean sun! This calm, enchanting hotel in the northern region of Cap Corse is perfect for a touch of escapism; whether that be found lounging by the nearby beach, or exploring the culture-rich village of Macinaggio. As you sunbathe by the pool, watching the hotel’s leafy façade reflect on the surface of the glittering, clear blue pool, your day-to-day worries will fade away. Swaying palm trees, spacious rooms, and dinner on the sun-drenched terrace… Corsican paradise!

Best Western U Ricordu **** and its restaurant is located in Macinaggio, on the Cap Corse peninsula of northern Corsica. The hotel is around 300 metres from the renowned marina.

  • The closest airport is Bastia – Poretta Airport, around an hour's drive south of the hotel, it receives flights from many capitals and major cities across Europe, with indirect flights from minor cities.

    You may arrange in advance with the hotel for a private airport transfer.
