Koh Chang (literally translates as "Elephant Island") is just 650km2 and Thailand's biggest golf island, as well as the country's second biggest after Phuket. The Awa Resort Koh Chang **** is located on one of the island's most beautiful beaches, Kai Bae.

BY PLANE

  • The nearest airport to the hotel is Trat Airport (TDX), a tiny airport with a single tarmac runway that only serves Bangkok Airways. This means a connection flight is required from Bangkok-Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK); as a much larger airport which serves as a hub for Thai Airways International, Orient Thai Airlines and Bangkok Airways it welcomes flights from a large number of major European destinations, and most notably London-Heathrow for flights from the UK.
