The main international airport in Sicily is Catania–Fontanarossa Airport (CTA), also known as Vincenzo Bellini Airport, and it is located in the second largest city, Catania.
The airport receives direct flights from many European capitals and major cities, although many of the airlines only operate to the airport seasonally.
HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL
- By taxi: The airport usually has licensed taxis available at the airport terminal. The journey, around 45 minutes depending on traffic, costs between 70€-90€.
- By car: Leaving the airport, take the SP701 and follow signs for Siracusa/Regina for 4km before merging onto the E45. Continue for 57km. Take the exit for Taormina. Follow the SS114 for around 10km and continue until you see the hotel on your right.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
