Although Andorra is nestled away in the Pyrenees mountains, wedged between France and Spain, it certainly packs a punch for its size! This independent principality boasts a plethora of beautiful landscapes, and allures visitors from all over the world with its attractive tax-haven status. Escaldes-Engordany may be a petite parish within this tiny country, but it’s bathed in unrivalled natural scenery and is close to the centre, too.       The Golden Tulip Andorra Fenix **** is located in the Escaldes-Andorra commercial area, close to the thermal center of Caldea and a few minutes from the ski resorts of Grandvalira and Vallnord.

      BY PLANE

      • There are no well-served international airports in Andorra. However, the French airports of Toulouse, Carcassonne and Perpignan, and the Spanish airports of Girona and Barcelona are all close to the principality.

        Some of the best served airports include:

        Toulouse-Blagnac Airport (TLS) is located just west of Toulouse, and around 3 hours' drive north of Andorra. The airport is fairly well-served by international flights from elsewhere in France along with a number of capitals cities and other large cities across Europe.

        Girona–Costa Brava Airport (GRO) located just south of Girona, and around 2 hours and 30 minutes drive to the southeast of Andorra. Ryanair offer year-round & seasonal flights from a number of cities across Europe, while some other low-cost airlines also operate seasonal flights from certain destinations such Thomson Airways from the UK or Transavia from the Netherlands.

        Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN) is located just south of Barcelona, and around 3 hours drive to the south of Andorra. It is a well-served international airport which receives flights from many capitals and major cities across Europe.
