Blessed with both natural and man-made wonders, Lagos is the perfect combination of Mother Nature’s gifts and the influence of Portuguese civilisation. Located in the coastal Algarve region, this charming town is surrounded by the waves of the Atlantic, and dotted with picturesque beaches, cliffs and coves all awaiting exploration.  However, protected by ancient walls, the old town, with its cobblestone streets and charming churches, is a historic mark of Portuguese civilisation.   • Faro Airport (FAO) is located 4 km (2.5 mi) west of Faro, in the Algarve, and around 80 km / 50 mi to the east of the hotel.

    It is a fairly well served international airport which receives flights from many capitals and major cities across Europe, as well as minor cities in the UK. Most of the flights to this airport operate seasonally, however the airport is a base for Ryanair, and the airline operates a number of year-round flights.

    Another option is to fly to Lisbon Airport (LIS), around 2 hours and 25 minutes' drive to the north.
