The Hotel Whistler **** is found in central Paris, set between the Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est in the 10th arrondissement.
Paris is served by three main airports: Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG), located 25 km (16 mi) to the northeast of Paris, Paris Orly (ORY), located 13 km (8.1 mi) south of Paris, and Paris Beauvais (BVA), around 85 km (53 mi) north of Paris (near the city of Beauvais).
Paris Charles de Gaulle and Paris Orly receive flights from most capitals and major cities across Europe. Meanwhile, low-cost airlines (notably Ryanair), operate flights to Paris Beauvais from many cities across Europe.
From Paris Charles de Gaulle:
- By taxi: Taxis are easily found outside each terminal, be sure to take an officially licensed taxi from the rank. Fares vary depending on traffic, but expect to pay somewhere around €60.
- By train: This is generally the most cost-efficient method, the airport connects to the city via Line B of the RER, get off at Paris Gare du Nord.
From Paris Orly:
- By taxi: They are easily found outside each terminal, make sure to take an officially licensed taxi from the taxi rank. Fares vary considerably depending on traffic, but expect to pay anywhere between 30 to 40 euros.
- By train: Take the Orlyval to Antony, and take the RER line B to Paris Gare du Nord.
From Paris Beauvais:
- By train: Take a taxi (around €11) or shuttle bus (around €4) to Beauvais Station, from there, you may take TER line 19 to Paris Gare du Nord.
Most international trains arrive at either Paris Gare du Nord or Paris de l’Est. It is possible to take high-speed trains from cities in several neighbouring countries such as the UK, Germany and the Netherlands (as well as other cities in France), with companies such as TGV, Eurostar and Thalys.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
