Brive-Souillac Airport (BVE) also known as Brive-Dordogne Valley Airport is 13km south of Brive-la-Gaillarde. As a small airport, it only welcomes seasonal flights from the UK via. London-Stansted, often requiring a transfer in Lyon Airport or Paris-Orly.
HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL
- By taxi: it is possible to get a taxi from the airport to the hotel although, owing to the airport's size, taxis are not always readily available as you exit the airport. For this reason, we recommend booking a taxi in advance. At just over half an hour from the hotel, the journey normally costs between 50€-65€.
- By car: the hotel's blissfully secluded location means hiring a car is essential to profit from the surrounding natural beauty, as well as providing a smooth and easy journey from the airport.
As you leave the airport, follow signs for the A20 and head in the direction of the D920. Drive straight on the A20 for 30km and take Exit 35 for Uzerche/Seilhac/Vigeois. At the roundabout take the 4th exit for the D920 and turn left onto the D3. Continue on this road for 7km, and then slight right onto La Borie Labat/D7, and stay on that road for 10km. Take the left road at the fork and then promptly turn right. Take another right to stay on "La Noaille" and you will find the hotel on the right.
