Geneva Intenational Airport (GVA) is located 4 km / 2.5 mi northwest of Geneva city centre and 70km from the hotel.
The airport is well-served internationally and receives flights from most captials across Europe and other large European cities.
HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL
- By bus: a bus leaving Geneva Airport for Flaine leaves twice per day and takes 1 hour 45 minutes, costing between 13€-45€. From here in Flaine we recommend taking a cab to the hotel, as it is a 20 minute walk - not ideal with lots of luggage!
- By car: by far the easiest way to reach the hotel, hire cars are available at the airport arrivals terminal, although we strongly recommend hiring one in advance. As you leave the airport follow signs for France/Meyrin/Vernier and merge onto the A1/E25/E62 for France/St. Julien/Genève-la-Praille. After roughly 9km on the A1 stay right and then the 2nd right lane to take the exit for Paris/Lyon/Annecy. Stay left at the turn on and follow A40/E25 for Turin/Mont Blanc and continue for 47km, then take exit 19 for Flaine. Turn right onto D1205 and take the 2nd exit to follow the D6 for 6km. At the next roundabout continue to follow the D106 for 16km along Route de Flaine until you see your destination on the left.
