BY PLANE
The main international airport in Sicily is Catania–Fontanarossa Airport (CTA), also known as Vincenzo Bellini Airport, and it is located in the second largest city, Catania, which is around an hour and a half from Ragusa.
The airport receives direct flights from many European capitals and major cities, although many of the airlines only operate to the airport seasonally.
HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL
- By car: because of the hotel's secluded location, driving is the easiest way to arrive. Hire cars can be picked up at the airport, although we strongly recommend hiring one in advance. As you leave the airport follow signs for the SP701 and merge onto the E45. Stay on this road for 14km and then take the Lentini-Carlentini exit. Take the ramp for the SS194 towards Ragusa/Lentini, then merge onto the SS11dir. Continue following signs for the SS194 for around 27km, then merge onto the SS514 40km, then use the right hand exit to take ramp for Vittoria/Comiso/Gela. Follow the SP14 for 5km and continue straight on the Sp13 for another 9km. After taking the second exit at the roundabout, stay on SP15 for another 4km, then turn left onto SP19 and continue until you see your destination.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
