BY PLANE
Geneva Intenational Airport (GVA) is located 4 km / 2.5 mi northwest of Geneva city centre and around an hour and a half from the hotel.
The airport is well-served internationally and receives flights from most captials across Europe and other large European cities.
HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL
- By bus: the OuiBus leaves the airport 5 times per day for Chamonix Mont Blanc and takes 1 and a half hours to arrive. From here you can take a second bus which departs every 20 minutes to Les Times, which is no more than a 2 minute walk from the hotel. In total this costs around 3€-5€.
- By car: Hire cars can be found easily at the airport although we recommend booking one in advance. The journey, depending on traffic, should take around an hour. As you leave the airport take the A1/E25 towards Vernier, stay on this road for 10km then take the 2nd lane to take the A40/E21 exit for Paris/Lyon/Annecy. Stay left at the fork and follow the A40/E21 towards Turin/Chamonix for 23km, and stay left again to continue on the A40 for another 45km. Stay on the N205 for 16km and take exit D1506 for Chamonix. Continue following signs for D1506 for another 7km and you will see the residence ahead.
