Santiago do Cacem

Portugal

The Santiago Hotel Cooking & Nature **** is located in the village Santiago Do Cacem, 150km south of Lisbon.

BY PLANE

  • Lisbon Airport (LIS), is located just a short distance north of Lisbon city centre.

It is a well-served international airport and is the main hub for TAP Portugal as well as a focus city for EasyJet and Ryanair. The airport receives regular flights from most European capitals and a number of other large European cities.

HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL

  • - By taxi: you can take a taxi from the airport, which always has taxis available, but at around 100€ it is not the most economical method!

    - By bus: public transport is a much cheaper way of reaching the hotel, but it takes twice the length of time as a taxi. First, take the train to Lisboa Gare do Oriente (every 5 minutes) before taking a bus to Setúbal from Lisbon on the 562 bus. Once in Setúbal, a bus departs every 4 hours for Santiago do Cacém, which stops less than 5 minutes away from the hotel. All in all this costs around 20€ depending on the time of travel.

    - By car: this is definitely the quickest and cheapest way of reaching the hotel, and better still it allows you to explore the nearby beauty. As you leave the airport take the E1 and exit onto Av. Berlim, and head for the A1 Norte/A8 Oeste/A12 Sul. Follow signs for A12 for 35km then stay left at the fork to continue on the IP1 and follow E90/E1/A2/Algarve. Stay on the A2/IP1 for 17km then stay left at the fork to continue for another 48km. Take exit 9 for IP8/Sines. Continue on IC33 for 23km and take exit M554/N120/S, then turn right onto the N120. Continue for around 10km and then you should see the hotel on your left.
