The Domaine de la Groirie is located in the small French commune of Trangé, just west of Le Mans in the department of Sarthe, at the northern edge of the Pays-de-la-Loire region.

BY PLANE

  • The closest international airport, located 1 hour southeast from the hotel, is Tours Val de Loire Airport (TUF) found 6 km / 3.7 miles northeast of Tours.

    The airport receives flights operated by Ryanair from London-Stansted, Marrakesh, Porto, Dublin and seasonally from Marseille.

    Rennes–Saint-Jacques Airport (RNS) is located around 6 km / 3.7 mi southwest of Rennes and around 1 hour 30 minutes' drive to the west of the hotel.

    The airport is a little better served than Tours, receiving flights from a small number of cities across Europe as well as elsewhere in France.

    Otherwise, you may choose to fly to Paris Orly Airport (ORY), around 1 hour 50 minutes' drive to the northeast of the hotel, or to Nantes Atlantique Airport (NTE), located around 1 hour 50 minutes' drive to the southwest of the hotel. Both airports are well served with flights from across Europe

BY TRAIN

  • The Gare du Mans train station is located in the centre of Le Mans, around a 15 minute drive to the east of the hotel.

    Le Mans is connected to France's high-speed train network, TGV. From the UK is it possible to book via Eurostar, otherwise Thalys or TGV operate trains from other neighbouring counties and elsewhere in France.
