Paris is served by three main airports: Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG), located 25 km (16 mi) to the northeast of Paris, Paris Orly (ORY), located 13 km (8.1 mi) south of Paris, and Paris Beauvais (BVA), around 85 km (53 mi) north of Paris (near the city of Beauvais).
Paris Charles de Gaulle and Paris Orly receive flights from most capitals and major cities across Europe. Meanwhile, low-cost airlines (notably Ryanair), operate flights to Paris Beauvais from many cities across Europe.
From Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport:
- By taxi: taxis are easily found outside each terminal, be sure to take an officially licensed taxi from the rank. Fares vary depending on traffic, but expect to pay between 50€ to 65€.
- By train: This is generally the most cost-efficient method. The airport connects to the city via Line B of the RER. Take the train to Paris Gare du Nord and switch to the Metro system, taking line M4 to Strasbourg - Saint Denis and changing for the M8 to Grands Boulevard, a few minutes' walk from the hotel. Head up Rue du Faubourg Montmartre and take a right on Rue Geoffroy-Marie.
- By bus: The Roissybus runs directly to Opéra in central Paris. From Opéra it’s either a 15 minute walk or take the metro line M8 to Grands Boulevard, a few minutes' walk from the hotel. Head up Rue du Faubourg Montmartre and take a right on Rue Geoffroy-Marie.
From Paris Orly Airport:
- By taxi: Taxis are easily found outside each terminal, make sure to take an officially licensed taxi from the rank. Fares vary depending on traffic, but expect to pay between 30€ to 40€.
- By train: First take the OrlyBus to Denfert-Rochereau, then take the metro M4 to Strasbourg - Saint Denis and change for the M8 to Grands Boulevard, a few minutes' walk from the hotel. Head up Rue du Faubourg Montmartre and take a right on Rue Geoffroy-Marie.
From Paris-Beauvais Airport:
- By train: Take a taxi (around 11€/£8) or shuttle bus (around 4€/£3 per person) to the Beauvais Station, from which the TER Line 19 runs to Paris Gare du Nord. From there, take the metro line M4 to Strasbourg - Saint Denis and change for the M8 to Grands Boulevard, a few minutes' walk from the hotel. Head up Rue du Faubourg Montmartre and take a right on Rue Geoffroy-Marie.
Most international trains arrive at either Paris Gare du Nord or Paris de l’Est. From the UK it is possible to book via Eurostar, otherwise Thalys or TGV operate from other neighbouring counties and elsewhere in France.
