St Nicholas Bay Resort Hotel & Villas ***** is situated near Aghios Nikolaos on the eastern coast of Crete, looking out onto the Mediterranean Sea.
Heraklion International Airport, “Nikos Kazantzakis” (HER), is Crete's main airport and closest to the hotel, sat on the central northern coast. It is about 60 km / 39.8 mi / 1 hour's drive from the hotel.
The airport receives flights from a large number of cities across Europe, including the UK. If travelling out of season, it is possible to fly indirect via Athens.
• Taxi: although easily available from outside the airport’s main terminal, it is highly recommended to book a taxi in advance particularly in summer. It should take around 50 minutes to reach the hotel.
• Bus: buses operate about once an hour to Aghios Nikolaos, taking around 90 minutes. From the bus stop in Aghios Nikolaos, it is less than 10 minutes' taxi ride to the hotel.
• Car: major car rental companies can be found at the airport terminals. The airport is connected to Aghios Nikolaos to the east via the E75 motorway, the drive is about 50 minutes. We recommend booking your car rental in advance, particularly in summer.
