  • Zanzibar is served by Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ), located around 5 kilometres / 3.1 mi south of Zanzibar City.

    Some European airlines fly seasonally direct to the airport. Otherwise, it is necessary to fly indirect for example via Tanzania's capital (Dar es Salam), or Dubai, Nairobi, Addis Ababa, Doha or Muscat.

VISA REQUIREMENTS

  • For all travel to Tanzania, you must obtain a visa in advance and have a passport which is valid for at least 6 months after the return date of your trip.

  • Special condition: 5 night minimum stay
  • Important note: check-in generally begins at 3pm local time. We recommend choosing a flight arriving after 6am local time, so that you arrive at the hotel in the afternoon. Checking in prior to this time will incur additional accommodation fees, which are the sole responsibility of the customer. You may nonetheless reserve an additional night of accommodation through our Customer Service team.
  • Important note: for all departures in 50 days or more, the remaining balance will be automatically deducted 45 days prior to departure.
