The closest airport is Clermont-Ferrand Auvergne Airport. This is a little served airport, although you may find flights from Paris and Amsterdam with Air France and from Southampton with Flybe. If coming from another European city, we recommend flying through Paris and from there transfer to Clermont-Ferrand Airport.
From the airport, take the train towards Clermont-Ferrand. The hotel is around 1 kilometre from the train station, and the entire journey should last around 25 minutes.
TRAIN
The closest station to the hotel is Clermont-Ferrand, just 1 kilometre away. Direct trains to Clermont-Ferrand depart from Paris Gare du Nord. From From the UK is it possible to book via Eurostar, otherwise Thalys or TGV operate from other neighbouring counties and elsewhere in France. From Paris the journey to Clermont-Ferrand lasts around 3 hours 45 minutes and from London the entire journey should last around 7 hours.
BY CAR
The entire journey from Calais port should last around 6 and a half hours. From Calais take the A26, till you reach Arrás then exit on the A1, then take the A3 South and the E15 ring-road around Paris. Exit the ring-road onto the A6B, E5 heading south then bear right merging with the A10. Then at Ponthévrard head south with the E5, A10, taking the exit to continue south by Orleans onto the A71, E9, E11. Follow this road all the way to Clermont-Ferrand, exiting at junction 16 onto the D772. Shortly afterwards you will reach a roundabout, take the first exit and then the first right, Rye Georges Besse, and the hotel will be on your left.
