What do you expect from Zurich? Grey buttoned-down suits, sleek corporations, fancy watches and fondue? A stay at the city’s 25hours Hotel Langstrasse should shake off those cultural clichés for good. There’s not a cuckoo clock in sight within the 180 rooms of this vibrant hotel; instead, you’ll find sci-fi furniture next to vintage antiques. It’s arty, offbeat and a living creative space. The Eastern-themed Neni restaurant and Cinchona Bar are hotspots within Zurich’s dining and nightlife scene too, making this the ideal choice for travellers looking for fun.
