The Novotel Phuket Kata Avista Resort & Spa ***** is situated just a 6 minute walk from the Kata beach in Phuket in Thailand.
PLANE
The island of Phuket is served by Phuket International Airport (HKT), located in the north of the island, around 32 kilometres/ 20 miles from the centre of Phuket City, and around 1 hours' drive from the hotel.
There are almost no direct flights to Phuket Airport from Europe, you will have to book an indirect flight with at least one connection, for example via Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
ADMINISTRATIVE FORMALITIES
Passports must be valid for 6 months from the return date of your trip.
Thailand has a visa exemption agreement with a number of countries, including the UK and countries in the EU. This allows for a maximum stay of 30 days upon entering Thailand via an international airport or land border checkpoint from neighbouring countries.
The visit must be strictly for tourism purposes, visitors must have a confirmed return ticket/proof of onward travel for within 30 days of entry (open tickets do not qualify), and visitors must have proof of funds of at least 10,000 THB per person.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
