Tip N° 1 – Bring your appetite!
This resort has some serious over-serving habits and is no place for the faint of appetite. So ditch the diet and open yourself up to a world where every morning, noon and night you can pick a different cuisine, from Spanish tortilla and Catalan tomato bread at breakfast, to wood-fired pizzas by the pool at lunch, to Asian dishes cooked before your eyes at dinner. And don’t even get me started on the many bars available…
Tip N° 2 – Prepare for action!
What with the golf course, water sports, painting classes and gym, you’ll need some tight planning and lots of energy to try everything. We recommend picking something you’ve never tried before, so that you can enjoy the great advice and friendliness of the resort staff while you discover a new hobby! Seabed fishing anyone?
Tip N° 3 – Get up and go to get chilled and relaxed!
This hotel is no place for lounging around in your beautiful suite, even if it is devilishly comfortable and features a hammock on the balcony. No – you need to save your lounging around for in the fantastic spa, where the many massages and treatments on offer will take you to relaxation nirvana. We prescribe at least 2 sessions per week, interspersed with some intense sunbathing on the private beach - VeryChic’s orders!

Citizens or residents of the UK, European Union, US, Canada, or number of other countries, do not require a visa to enter the Dominican Republic. A Tourist Card will have to be purchased however, either at the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Dominican Republic, or directly at the airport on arrival for $10 (USD) or equivalent.

BY PLANE
The closest airport is Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ), located alongside Punta Cana village, around 16 km / 10 mi (17 minutes' drive) from the hotel.
La Romana International Airport (LRM) is located around 8 km / 5 mi east of La Romana, around 1 hours' drive from the hotel.
Las Américas International Airport (SDQ) is located near Santo Domingo to the west, around 2 hours' drive from the hotel.
Each airport receives regular or seasonal direct flights from various cities across Europe, although Punta Cana Airport is the best served of the three. An alternative for each of the airports is to fly indirect via the US.
