BY PLANE

  • Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) is the main international airport of the Netherlands, located around 10 kilometres (6 mi) southwest of Amsterdam city centre, and is one of the busiest in Europe. It is a hub for KLM, the main airline connecting Amsterdam to other European cities, as well airlines such as Transavia, EasyJet and Vueling.

    - By taxi: Taxis are always available in front of the airport and will take you directly to the hotel. It is certainly the easiest solution, although a little more expensive, costing around 45€.
Look out for the new Taxi-E’s - fully electric, they are climate neutral cars so you contribute to a more sustainable world! They are also slightly cheaper than regular taxis and offer free Wi-Fi too!

    - By Airport Shuttle: Run by the company Connecxxion they leave every 10 minutes between 6am and 9pm and drop you off at your hotel. Tickets cost around 17€ euros one way and 27 euros return, and can be purchased on-line or inside the main arrival hall; the bus leaves from platform A7, situated just outside the arrivals hall.

    - By train: This is both convenient and the most economical way to get directly to Amsterdam Central Station. The journey lasts around 15 minutes and costs around 3.60 euros per person. From there take tram 16 (direction VU Medisch Centrum) or tram 24 (direction VU Medisch Centrum) and exit at Ruysdaelstraat. Go to the right, cross the bridge over the canal and the hotel will be on your right hand side.

BY TRAIN

  • From the UK, the Eurostar operates trains from London to Amsterdam (in conjunction with Thalys). The journey time is around 4 hours and 45 minutes, with a change over in Brussels. Otherwise from mainland Europe, trains are available from many other countries and can be found and booked online with RailEurope.

Getting from Amsterdam Central Station to the hotel:
Take tram 16 (direction VU Medisch Centrum) or tram 24 (direction VU Medisch Centrum) and exit at Ruysdaelstraat. Go to the right, cross the bridge over the canal and the hotel will be on your right hand side.

Getting from Amsterdam Zuid Station to the hotel:
Take tram 5 (direction of Central Station) and exit at Roelof Hartplein. Continue onto Cornelis Anthoniszstraat and turn left onto the Hobbemakade. Turn right onto Ruysdaelstraat and continue onto Albert Cuypstraat, the hotel will be on your right hand side.
