Step out onto the cobbles and you’ll find the Radisson Blu Astrid Hotel, the ideal base to begin your Belgian adventure. Recently renovated and boasting spacious, comfortable rooms, look out onto views of the city and its main square and enjoy the impeccable service offered by the Radisson Blu brand.
All 253 rooms and suites have been exquisitely designed by Michael Graves and feature stylish amenities to guarantee a truly comfortable stay in Belgium’s second city. Enjoy the varied breakfast buffet in the Windows of Antwerp restaurant, and revel in panoramic views over a city full of treasures just waiting to be discovered. With exceptional proximity to the fashion and Diamond districts, the streets of Antwerp await you.
Antwerp has a long and flourishing relationship with art and artists. Home to revered Baroque artist Pieter Paul Rubens who painted and breathed the city, the Rubenshuis Museum displays his most famous works impeccably restored from ruins in 1937. The MAS Museum contains different collections of fascinating artworks, each telling the story of Antwerp’s place in the ever-evolving world. Spend a day riding its escalators, exploring its airy terraces, and indulging in Belgian delicacies at the Zilte restaurant.
Rest your aching feet and enjoy the beauty treatments on offer in the wellness Health Club, as well as savouring classic Belgian specialties and seasonal favourites in the hotel restaurant - and why not wash it down with one of the 1,500 types of beer Belgium produces each year? The Belgian beer culture was officially recognised as part of the UNESCO World Heritage in 2016, after all.
