Mount Olympus may have been believed to be the home of the Greek gods, but the gods didn’t need to travel all the way up the mountain to find a home worthy of them. The picturesque, traditional town of Litochoro sits partway up the mountainside, with spectacular views of not just the mountain, but also the surrounding countryside and sea. Thessaloniki International Airport "Macedonia" (SKG), formerly Mikra Airport, is located 13 km / 8.1 mi south of the White Tower of Thessaloniki in the city of Thessaloniki and 114 km from the hotel, approximately 1 hour 5 minutes' drive from the hotel.
It is the main airport of Northern Greece and receives a large number of international flights from cities across Europe. Many flights operate seasonally and you may have to fly indirect for example via Athens.
