Recently renovated, Hotel The Spinaker looks perfectly suited to its attractive surroundings and makes sure guests can enjoys views of the Camargue and the Mediterranean whenever possible. From the swimming pool to the restaurant to the rooms, Port Camargue – the largest marina in Europe – is never far away. To make sure you look your best, too, spend some time in the spa, fitness centre and steam room. There is even a traditional sauna that has been made with wood sourced from Finland. Massage and beauty treatments, as well as yoga classes, also help complete the Zen experience.

Hooked on haute cuisine
Enjoy dinner while looking out over the marina from The Deck by Spinaker. With a menu designed by chef Laurent Barrière, the rooftop restaurant and bar hosts live music events and evening entertainment, and serves inventive cocktails and mocktails, fresh local seafood and Mediterranean-inspired tapas dishes. During the day, a breakfast buffet is available while sun loungers and day beds circle the new pool and deck area, giving the place a beach club feel. There’s also the chance to order from the 30-strong rum menu – something else of which Hemingway would have approved.

Le Spinaker **** is situated in the southern French region of Occitanie, in the town of Grau-du-Roi, a perfect location for total relaxation under the Mediterranean sun.
BY PLANE
Montpellier-Méditerranée Airport (MPL) sits 7 km / 4 mi southeast of Montpellier, and around 28 km / 17 mi (24 minutes') drive from the hotel. The airport does receive some regular and seasonal flights from a handful of major cities across Europe, along with elsewhere in France.
From the airport to the hotel:
• Bus: bus line 120, takes 15 minutes to reach Place de l'Europe (east of the city centre) from Montpellier Airport
• Taxi/transfer: taxis are readily available at the airport or you can book online in advance. Private transfer services are also bookable in advance. It should take around 15-20 minutes to reach the city centre.
Alternatively, Toulouse-Blagnac Airport (TLS) is located further west, about 281 km / 174 mi (2 hours and 48 minutes') drive from the hotel, and Marseille-Provence Airport (MRS) is located further east, about 127 km / 78 mi (1 hour 36 minutes') drive from the hotel; both receive more regular flights from a number of major cities across Europe.
