Altis Suites **** Located in the commercial district of São Mamede. Lisbon, like all major cities of the Iberian Peninsula is served regularly by major European airlines.
Lisbon Airport (LIS), is located just a short distance north of Lisbon city centre.
It is a well-served international airport and is the main hub for TAP Portugal as well as a focus city for EasyJet and Ryanair. The airport receives regular flights from most European capitals and a number of other large European cities.
-Hotel shuttle: Transfers to and from the airport available for free, upon availability and depending on the time. You must book in advance and receive confirmation from the hotel.
- By taxi: Taxis are found outside the terminal buildings. The airport is fairly close to the city and taxis generally charge an average of €10 to the centre.
- By bus: When exiting the airport, situated from equal distance from terminal 1 and 2 you will find the Praça Aeroporto bus stop. From here take the bus number 783 (the service runs from 6 am to midnight). You can only make use of these buses if you have no more than one piece of hand luggage with you. A ticket on board the bus costs € 1.80, get off at Marquês Pombal. Travellers carrying multiple suitcases must use the Aerobus. Tickets cost 3.50€ or 2€ for children ages 4 to 10, you will have to get off at Salitre Hostel and then walk down the street to Vale do Pereiro follow the sign post to Rossio until you see an orange small building with a one way street on your left, take that street and the hotel will be on your left.
The nearest bus stop is Alcântara served by the bus line 773. When exiting the hotel head up R. Castilho take the first left to the end of the street and then the first right on to R. Rodrigo da Fonseca, the bus stop will be on the left.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
