Mercure Hotel Amsterdam City ★★★★

Shades of violet, amber and sapphire paint the city of Amsterdam.

By Rebecca Wilson, VeryChic correspondent
Come rain or shine, thousands of cyclists fill Amsterdam’s quintessential paved streets and carry all sorts of everyday objects, from ladders to adorable puppies. Delve into a city where floating flower markets found along the charming canal network are a norm! Quaint, patterned, expressionist, architecture makes Amsterdam a breath of fresh air and mirrors the artistic vibe felt in the Dutch capital. Mercure Hotel Amsterdam City brings a modern and sleek finish to its décor, as well as a calming colour palette guaranteed to appease your mind and body after a day in the vibrant tulip filled city centre.
