Casa de la Merced Suites is housed within a charming building that dates back to 1868, the façade is indicative of its history, however, as you step inside, the walls and furnishings exude contemporary luxury and modernity. You will be warmly welcomed into your new home at the reception, before discovering your very own secluded space.

Your apartment has a darling décor, in the living area you will find a comfortable sofa and a large window that floods the area with natural light. A sense of well-being emanates every surface, from the dark-wooden flooring, to the soft linen on the plush bed that beckons you to collapse onto it. It is also fitted with a fully-equipped kitchen so you can opt for more casual meals, and a fresh, spacious bathroom.

When you step outside the doors of your base in Málaga, you will find yourself near the picturesque Plaza de la Merced. It is a lovely, quiet area encircled by charming cafés and bars, and filled with plenty of benches and trees. Not far from here, is the excellent Pablo Picasso museum, as he was born in this area, the magnificent Málaga Cathedral and an abundance of marvellous museums and delightful art galleries.

After you have ventured through more of Málaga, with its maze of winding streets, why not relax and unwind in the city’s botanical gardens? Then, you can walk along the curving coastline, with its golden, sandy beaches caressed by beautiful blue waters, before retiring to an authentic Spanish tapas bar for some local specialties and a refreshing cerveza to cool off.
