BY PLANE
Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS), also commonly known as "Lisbon Airport", is located just a short distance north of Lisbon city centre.
It is a well-served international airport and is the main hub for TAP Portugal as well as a focus city for EasyJet and Ryanair. The airport receives regular flights from most European capitals and a number of other large European cities.
HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL
From Lisbon Airport:
- By taxi: taxis are located outside the terminals and are calculated on distance. Not all Lisbon taxis look the same; most are cream-coloured but some older ones are painted black and mint green.
-By metro: the airport is connected to the city centre with the metro system. Use the red metro line from the airport to Alameda, then change onto the green metro line to Baixa-Chiado. The journey takes around 35 minutes. From there, it is either a 15 minute drive or a 30 minute walk to the hotel.
- By bus: the Aerobus Line 1, operated by Carris/Yellowtours and goes from the airport to the city centre of Lisbon. These buses depart every 20 minutes and take around 45 minutes.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
