Les Villas du Spa ★★★★

My friend and I arrive at our stylish apartment and immediately head out onto the balcony. The scenic sea views are mesmerising! The fully furnished apartment is fully equipped with a modern kitchen, a luxurious double bed, a high-quality flat screen TV and filled with a tranquil aura.

Mouth-watering scents waft through the air and entice us down to the gourmet restaurant. I order soft ravioli; dusted with parmesan cheese and covered in velvety truffle cream, while my friend tries honeyed duck and Jerusalem artichoke; drizzled with an exquisite red wine reduction. To cleanse our palettes, we order a cheese quartet to share. We are both delighted by the sticky sweet chutneys and hazelnut bread served with the plate! I was certainly full of divine food by this point, but the pear tart filled with sumptuous white chocolate proved to be irresistible.

In the restaurant, the floor to ceiling bay windows fill an entire wall and flood this stunning space with natural light. We enjoyed our delicious meal while admiring picturesque views of the beachfront. The expansive sea calmly kissing the shore in the distance, provided a peaceful atmosphere throughout the elegant restaurant. After a glass of crisp white wine, we decide to venture out onto the sun-soaked terrace and watch a beautiful sunset paint the sky. In the morning, we plan to walk down the pedestrian embankment running along the seafront.

The apartment complex is exclusive from the Val Andre Marine Spa, in Thalasso Resort, however I am still permitted to book a unique hydrotherapy treatment. The list of therapies is endless, from revitalising seaweed wraps to exfoliating facials, I am spoilt for choice! The marine spa also features a heated sea water hydro-active indoor pool that boasts underwater jets, geysers and aqua beds. Trust me, a dip in this pool is the ultimate form of relaxation.
