Tranquillity reigns in this part of Greece, it is unmeasurably serene and is perfect for those who wish to experience an authentic Greek getaway. Ikaros Luxury Beach Resort & Spa ***** offers its guests unfaltering luxury and complete refinement. Sat looking out to the sea, its lush pools, sublime spa and gorgeous cuisine with Cretan and Mediterranean flavours are all yours for the taking, and they can be enjoyed without restraint thanks to the all-inclusive formula. If you are keen to keep active whilst holidaying in Crete, perhaps tennis, beach volleyball, or one of the many water sports will interest you.

BY PLANE

  • Heraklion International Airport, “Nikos Kazantzakis” (HER), Crete's main airport, sits around 5 km / 3 mi east of Heraklion on the central northern coast. It is around 31.2 km / 19.4 mi (30 minutes') drive from the hotel.

    The airport receives flights from a large number of cities across Europe, including the UK. Many flights operate in the summer seaon, otherwise it may be required to fly indirect via Athens.

    Alternatively, Chania International Airport, "Daskalogiannis" (CHQ), is located on the northwestern Akrotiri Peninsula, 14 km / 8.7 mi east of Chania. It is around 178 km / 110 mi (2 hours 30 minutes') drive from the hotel.

    The airport also receives a number seasonal flights from cities across Europe, including the UK, and year-round flights from Athens.
