To enter the United Arab Emirates, it is mandatory to have an original passport which is valid for at least 6 months after the date of arrival in the UAE, along with proof of a return ticket, or ticket for an on-going journey out of the UAE.
The main airport serving Dubai is Dubai International Airport (DXB), situated in the in the Al Garhoud District, around 4.6 km / 2.9 mi northeast of the city centre and 30km / 18.6 mi (a 25 minute drive) from the hotel.
The airport receives international flights from many of airlines and destinations, including most capitals and other large cities across Europe. The airport also serves as the main base for Emirates, which operate a large number of international routes.
Transfers possible to/from Dubai International Airport (DXB) at a cost of $82 per vehicle (around €67).

To best prepare for your trip, visit the official Visit Dubai website, or the UAE Government Portal, to learn about the current rules for entry into Dubai and elsewhere in the UAE. Note that for Dubai:
- You must present a negative PCR test result taken within 72 hours of arrival.
- You must complete a Health Declaration Form.
- You must download the COVID-19 DXB app (available from AppStore & GooglePlay).
