Quaint white washed houses have been transformed from traditional cabanes de gardians to four-star quality hotel rooms in the heart of beautiful Camargue. At L'Auberge Cavalière du Pont des Bannes****, stunning suites seamlessly blend original authentic features with 21st century amenities. In my room, I sink down onto the soft sheets draped over my double bed and venture out onto my sun-soaked terrace to gaze out across the gorgeous wetlands and inhale the clean crisp air. Chattering birds dart across the sky and a tranquil heron solitarily stands on the enchanting horizon.
