  • Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK) sits less than 10 km / 6 mi southwest of Marrakech city centre. The airport is very well-served and welcomes flights from most European capitals and a number of other large cities, including from the UK.

  • Ramadan runs from 10 March to 9 April. There are no Ramadan-related restrictions for tourists. Restaurants are open during the day, and it is possible to consume alcohol, as it is during the rest of the year (in the evening, however, it is agreed to wait for the Iftar before consuming it).
