The airport is fairly well served with flights from a variety of European countries, however, most flights to this airport are seasonal. Ryanair provide a number of regular year-round flights from various destinations, and Alitalia opereate year-round direct flights from Rome and Milan, you may choose to fly indirect via one of those cities.
