In the kitchen, chefs first create a sweet base by roasting red peppers under a high heat. They next add lemon juice for acidity, a sprinkle of walnuts for bite, a dash of cumin for smokiness, a pinch of chilli flakes for heat, a drizzle of pomegranate molasses for depth and cloves of garlic blended with a generous amount of sea salt and olive oil for flavour. The result is a delicious Istanbul starter that can be found in the fine dining Fanus Restaurant. The gorgeous decoration in this space is highlighted by authentic upscale designs and injected with a contemporary feel while retaining an intimate and inviting atmosphere. So, don´t hesitate, satisfy your appetite and try a Turkish speciality from the sublime menu.

The Elysium Istanbul ***** is situated in the heart of Istanbul, only 600 metres from Taksim Square.
Istanbul currently has two airports: Istanbul Atatürk Airport (IST), on the European side, is the city's main international airport, and Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW), on the Asian side, is a newer international airport.
Ataturk Airport is located around 24 km (15 mi) west of the city centre. We recommend flying to this airport as it receives more direct flights from many more destinations in Europe, operated by a number of different airlines.
Sabiha Gökçen Airport is located around 35 km (22 mi) southeast of the city centre. It also receives a number of flights from cities across Europe, mostly operated by Turkish Airlines and Turkey's low cost Pegasus Airlines.
You will find official taxis lined up outside the airport, it will take around 30 minutes to reach the city centre from Atatürk Airport and will likely cost around 55 Turkish lira. A taxi from Sabiha Gökçen Airport will likely take over an hour and cost around 85 Turkish lira.
Another option from both airports is the Havataş airport shuttle to Taksim Square. It will take around 40 minutes from Atatürk Airport and cost around 11 Turkish lira, and around an hour and a half from Sabiha Gökçen Airport for around 14 Turkish lira.
