In the mornings, pull yourself out from a cocoon of Egyptian cotton sheets and venture onto the terrace. The enchanting morning glow of the gardens and the chattering of the birds, along with the gentle melody of cascading water from the fountain, is the perfect soundtrack to start your day. Home-made sticky sweet jams, buttery croissants and delicate quail eggs can be enjoyed on your terrace or in the inviting living room at the delightful breakfast included in your stay. Head out into the sun-drenched flora to discover the full-size swimming pool complete with towels on loungers and precious shade. Take a refreshing dip or sip a signature cocktail poolside while listening to mellow jazz tunes and soaking in the sun’s rays.
Your room in the hotel will be filled with unique touches that are characteristic of the foundations that La Villa Guy & Spa is built on. Aptly named after the architect of the building, The Suite Leopold Carlier is flooded with natural light and decorated with designer furniture. This spacious room is representative of sleek opulence and is completed with a copper coloured tower that features an exquisite balneo bath. The first owners of this villa are paid tribute too in The Suite Otto Meister. Bright sunshine yellow accents add a splash of colour in this renovated attic where exposed wood and natural materials take centre stage.
A touch of romanticism can be found in The Room Jeanne Guy: named after the lady in the Guy Family. Here, a soft, neutral palette is elevated by tapestry, imitating a bride’s veil, and the lace-like mouldings on the ceiling. In the surrounding park, sculptures are placed near a marble fountain. The artist Jean Antoine Injalbert and his pupil, Jean Magrou, are the creators of these structures and each have a contemporary room named after them in the villa that boasts glorious views of the gardens.
